TCBC Shanghai (Textile Canada Business Center) members participated at Cinte Textile China 2008 thanks to CTT Group’s facilitation, as part of the 2008 Canada Textile Days in China (16-22 Oct.).

Mission Programme:

Day One (16 Oct. 2008): Canada Textile Day

• Briefing on Chinese economics and business environment, by the commercial officers from the Canadian General Consulate and the Québec Office in Shanghai.
• Presentations on Canadian High-Tech and Value – Added products, by each Canadian company in the mission
• Networking Lunch
• Presentation on the Chinese textile market and industry, by CTT Group’s Chinese partners such as Dong Hua University, ShangTex Holding Group, and China Non-woven Technical Association

Day Two (17 Oct. 2008): Networking Meetings Between Canadian Companies and Chinese Potential Clients

Day Three (18 Oct. 2008): Networking Meetings Between Canadian Companies and Chinese Potential Clients, with potential visits to Chinese companies

Day Four (19 Oct. 2008) : Free Day in Shanghai

Day Five, Six and Seven (20-22 Oct 2008): Visit of Cinte Textile China 2008 with access to business space meetings at TCBC Shanghai Booth and/or individual industrial visit within China.

Canada Textile Day Networking Participants

This mission led a landmark agreement between Shanghai Linton Composites Material Co., Ltd. and JB Martin, with the signing of a significant contract providing for the exportation of JB Martin’s goods to this new partner.
